Easy Pizza Sauce

Just a few ingredients and you can create an easy and tasty pizza sauce. It will taste like it's been cooking all day, but it just took a few minutes.

Ingredients
2
(15oz) cans
tomato sauce
2
cloves
garlic, minced
1
Tbsp.
pure maple syrup
or other sweetener
2
Tbsp.
ketchup
1
tsp.
dried basil, crushed
1
tsp.
dried oregano, crushed
1
tsp.
dried rosemary, crushed
salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Using a pestle and mortar, crush the dried herbs.
Add all ingredients to a medium saucepan.
Cook on medium-low heat for 10 minutes.
If it starts to bubble, lower the heat and put a lid on top.
For best results, allow the sauce to sit for at least 30 minutes (no heat) to absorb all the flavors.
Notes
*This pizza sauce stores nicely in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
*You can also freeze the sauce for later.
