In a mixing bowl, add all the ingredients and stir well.
Spread oats onto a parchment lined cookie sheet and bake for 20 minutes, stir, then bake an additional 20 minutes.
Cook completely before serving. This granola will store well in a closed container on your counter top for 1 week.
***Chocolate Granola: Add 2 Tbsp. cocoa or cacao powder to oats and mix well before adding wet ingredients. You can include the cinnamon or eliminate it. Instead of maple syrup and water, just do 1 cup of maple syrup and no water to give a bit more sweetness.
