10cupschopped applesany variety, cut into large chunks
1cupapple juice(water works too)
1/4cuphoneyor sweetener of choice
1Tbsp.cinnamon
1Tbsp.lemon juice
1tsp.lemon zest
Instructions
Mix all ingredients together in the Instant Pot.
Touch the Manual button, then adjust the time to 10 minutes.
Once the timer goes off, do not touch it. The Instant Pot has to naturally release the pressure, do not quick release or applesauce will fly everywhere!
I like to take a potato masher and mash up the apples into a chunky sauce.
Note: if the sauce is more runny than you like, then thicken it with a little cornstarch or tapioca starch.
