Warm Rice Cereal

If you are looking for an alternative to your kiddos eating cereal every morning for breakfast, then give warm rice cereal a try. I normally make it with brown rice, however, I ran out. I usually keep brown and white rice on hand for different recipes, but this particular breakfast favorite can be enjoyed with either one.

To make warm rice cereal, you first have to know how to cook rice. So here’s a quick recipe that’s fool-proof, and super easy to do!

Warm Rice Cereal

Servings 1 serving

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup rice cooked
  • 2 tsp. pure maple syrup or honey
  • ¼ tsp. cinnamon
  • milk

Instructions
 

  • Put rice in a bowl, and heat in the microwave for 1 minute (if it's cold).
  • Add sweetener and cinnamon, and stir to combined.
  • Pour milk on top and enjoy!
