I have a child that suffers from tummy trouble. This problem has affected her diet tremendously, however, this simple bowl of oatmeal has helped calm her tummy trouble and other areas much better too ( 😉 if you know what I mean).

The sweetness from the honey makes this oatmeal very palatable, so my kids absolutely love it, and the cinnamon flavor is definitely an added bonus! What makes it golden is that 1 teaspoon of turmeric spice that offers tremendous digestion and antioxidant benefits that help my child’s tummy so much.

Add the black pepper is essential when making this. The black pepper helps the turmeric powder absorb better into your body, which is why it’s a necessity. I promise, adding honey and cinnamon will completely mask any flavor of pepper. I hope you enjoy this sweet golden oatmeal as much as my family does!

This serving size is perfect for an older child or adult in a single serving.

    • I haven’t been able to eat much for breakfast since I’ve gotten pregnant because everything and I mean EVERYTHING makes me so nauseous. I was kind of skeptical of this recipe because of the turmeric and pepper, but I went for it anyway. It’s safe to say that I found my new breakfast favorite! It’s soooo goood and comforting! The kids don’t really like oatmeal but I let them taste it and they all wanted some too lol. Thanks for this recipe!!!!
