How To Make Homemade Enchilada Sauce

  • Add veggie broth to a small saucepan.
  • Dump in a whole can of tomato paste.
  • Add cumin, chili powder, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper.
  • Heat on the stove for 20 minutes.
  • The longer it sits, the better it is!
  • Serve over your favorite enchiladas and enjoy!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups chicken or veggie broth
  • 1 can tomato paste
  • 2 Tbsp. cumin powder
  • 2 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. onion powder
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Whisk all the ingredients together in a saucepan over medium heat.
  • When sauce comes to a simmer, reduce heat to low and cook an additional 3-5 minutes.
