Anyways, so now that you know about the challenge, you can see that we are saving $1000 this month, which means I cut our normal $140 weekly grocery budget down to $40 per week! We are crazy and super excited to save money! So here’s what I got today:

Foods Co: Spent $20.08

Favorite Deals:

FREE Doritos chips! (coupon can be added on their app)

Red bag produce bags: $.99 each!

Organic chips: $.99 each through tomorrow 5/5!

Salsa: $.99 each through tomorrow 5/5!

Udi Bagels: $3.99 + $1 back with ibotta! = $2.99

Sign-up with ibotta and earn $10 as a WELCOME BONUS!!! The savings is seriously incredible!

WIC Items: FREE

We adopted our son 1 year ago. We found out with our girl’s adoption that even after they are adopted and out of the foster care system, they get to keep their WIC until they age out at 5. So our son gets to continue to be on WIC for 1 more year. We are very thankful for this.

Aldi’s Trip: Spent $18.71

Favorite Deals:

Avocados: $.25 each! WOOHOO!

Cucumbers: $.29 each!

Also, I had a bad container of sour cream from Aldi’s last week, so not only did they give me a new one… they also gave me my money back! That’s $1.29 BACK! YAY!!! Seriously though, being on a $40 per week grocery budget makes every dollar important!

GRAND TOTAL FOR THE WEEK: $38.79!!! Plus, I got $1.29 back from Aldi’s! = $2.50 leftover!
